Rangitikei - A path to well-being conference

E-mail Print PDF

The Rangitikei – a path to well-being conference will take place at Taihape Area School on Friday 16th April 2010 with registration from 9.00 am. Confirmed keynote speakers include Hon Simon Power MP, Minister of Justice and Peter Kenyon, Director of Bank of Ideas.

If you or your agency/organisation serves the community in our District in any capacity, then this conference is for you.

What’s in it for you?

We are all working to tackle complex issues that cut across sector and agency boundaries. This conference will help you develop or create the connections you need with other organisations to support you in your particular area.

How will the day be organised?

A wide range of partners and stakeholders have identified the issues for us in our District. These will be discussed in a mixture of plenary with keynote speakers and interactive, participative workshops with invited experts and case studies.

Draft Programme

What is expected from you?

You will sign up to one of six themes and stick with that theme all day. You will be asked to help describe underlying problems, identify potential solutions and then to play your part in any solutions or actions identified.

How to register

Please complete the enclosed Organisation Registration Form and one Individual Registration Form per delegate. The Organisation Registration Form requests that you make suggestions for other topics or other agencies that should be invited. We will follow up on all suggestions.

What will it cost you?

No money BUT we’re asking you to commit a whole day to one themed issue. We know that’s a huge commitment!  You may decide that more than one theme is of interest to your organisation. If so, please feel free to invite your colleagues too.

Thank you for your time. We look forward to meeting you in Taihape on 16th April.
